We're looking for a creative, experienced Senior Website Designer & Developer to lead the design and development of our WordPress-based websites.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Senior Website Designer & Developer to design, build, and optimize our websites on WordPress. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our digital presence is aligned with our brand, highly engaging, and optimized for user experience and SEO. This role requires a strong blend of creative design, technical development, and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
Web Design & Development:
- Design, develop, and optimize our WordPress websites for Modern Requirements and Copilot4DevOps using best practices in web design and development.
- Customize WordPress themes, templates, and CSS stylesheets to meet brand standards and unique business needs.
- Work with theme builders (e.g., Elementor) to create visually appealing, responsive, and functional sites.
- Implement custom web apps and business functionalities to enhance user engagement.
User Experience (UX) & Design:
- Apply a user-centric design approach to improve site navigation, usability, and overall engagement.
- Create and iterate on website mockups and prototypes using tools such as Figma.
- Develop layouts that simplify user experiences, integrate multimedia content, and utilize action-oriented copy.
- Ensure that all designs are optimized for mobile responsiveness and across all devices.
SEO & Performance Optimization:
- Utilize SEO best practices to design websites that are optimized for search engine rankings.
- Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times, and seamless user interactions.
Collaboration & Strategy:
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and IT teams to align web development with brand guidelines and business objectives.
- Continuously research and implement emerging web technologies and trends to stay ahead of the curve.
- Provide creative solutions to web design challenges and suggest improvements based on data and user feedback.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in web design and development, with a focus on WordPress.
- Expert knowledge of WordPress, including customization and theme development.
- Proficiency in WordPress theme builders such as Elementor.
- Strong design skills with a solid understanding of user experience (UX) principles.
- Experience with design tools like Figma for mockups and prototypes.
- Excellent knowledge of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and performance optimization.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate design decisions clearly.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with additional CMS platforms such as WebFlow.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
- Previous experience in designing and developing SaaS or enterprise-level websites.
- Understanding of AI-driven web functionalities and modern digital marketing trends.
