Position Summary: In accordance with Wallick Mission and Values, the Senior Vice President of Senior Living will play a crucial role in driving the overall success of our organization. You will provide strategic direction, oversee operational efficiency, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services to our residents. Drawing upon your extensive experience in the assisted living industry, you will lead a diverse team of professionals, promote a culture of care, character, and collaboration, and foster a supportive environment for our associates. The ideal candidate will have multi-site experience and a proven track record of strategically leading and growing assisted living organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement the organization's strategic vision and long-term plans in alignment with our core values.
    • Provide guidance and oversight to department heads, fostering a culture of care, character, and collaboration throughout the organization.
    • Drive operational excellence, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and promoting continuous quality improvement.
  2. Operational Management:
    • Champion operational excellence and continuous improvement within the day-to-day operations of the Senior Living business unit, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and the delivery of exceptional care and services.
    • Partner with centralized corporate support departments to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, and processes to drive operational effectiveness.
    • Lead efforts to enhance operational processes, systems, and technology to improve resident experiences.
    • Maximize efficiency across multi-site portfolio with scalable and repeatable standards across all communities.
  3. Financial Management:
    • Work closely with Finance and Human Resources support teams to develop and manage the organization's annual budget and financial goals.
    • Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize revenue and control costs.
    • Provide guidance and support for financial planning, reporting, and forecasting activities.
    • Partner with development teams to evaluate proformas for operational viability.
  4. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Promote a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and collaboration across communities and within centralized corporate support functions.
    • Foster a culture of care, character, and collaboration, promoting an environment that values diversity, inclusivity, and employee well-being.
    • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional growth opportunities.
    • Promote effective communication, collaboration, and teamwork across communities and corporate support teams.
  5. Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and licensing requirements across multiple states.
    • Oversee risk management initiatives, identify potential risks, and implement proactive measures to mitigate them.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and changes in regulations, making recommendations for organizational adjustments as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Master's degree in business administration or healthcare administration.
  • 10-15 years of executive level leadership experience in the assisted living industry with multi-site experience.
  • Proven experience scaling operations of a growing business unit in partnership with a centrally driven operational support model.
  • Technically savvy with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and licensing requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership and strategic operational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the core values of care, character, and collaboration.
Physical Demands: Position requires work to be performed in an office setting. Extensive use of a computer, keyboard and mouse; requires walking talking, seeing and hearing. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment : Work takes place in an office setting with moderate noise levels. Occasional travel may be required.
