As a Senior / Lead VFX Programmer, you will advance real-time visual effects technology of the highest quality. Collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary team of programmers and artists, you will contribute to complex features such as planet-scale weather effects, persistent fire simulations, and advanced rendering techniques. While the focus is on visuals and rendering, there are also significant contributions to gameplay and tools development, making this role diverse and rewarding.

What does a VFX Programmer at CIG do?
- Design and implement maintainable, multi-threaded code focused on real-time performance using modern C .
- Collaborate with internal teams through iterative feedback.
- Document and peer review technical designs.
- Follow agile development practices like scrums and sprints.
- Work with other teams on various projects.
- Specialize in Graphics Programming, Game Programming, or Tools Programming.
What do we expect from our VFX Programmers?
- Mentor and potentially lead team members.
- Proficiency in C within large codebases, including testing and source control.
- Ability to motivate and positively influence multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of 3D mathematics; experience in Graphics, Game, or Tools Programming (VFX experience is a plus).
- Adaptability to an agile, cross-functional environment.
