Role Summary: As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will be instrumental in crafting intuitive user experiences across our digital platforms. You will design user-friendly interfaces for our core products, enhance communication materials, and create engaging designs that simplify complex AI safety concepts for diverse users, including developers, data scientists, and compliance professionals.
Key Responsibilities: - Design & Development: Create, test, and maintain user interfaces for Virtue AI's products and web properties.
- Website Leadership: Oversee the design and implementation of our marketing website using tools like Webflow or Elementor, ensuring a responsive and visually appealing user experience.
- Frontend Design: Construct the frontend for our API platform and dashboards using React and Tailwind CSS, prioritizing usability and efficient workflows.
- User-Centric Design: Develop wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes grounded in user research and product specifications.
- Reusable Components: Build maintainable and accessible UI components with React and Tailwind CSS.
- Collaborative Work: Partner with product managers, backend engineers, and marketing to convert requirements into practical features and verify design feasibility.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure responsive design across various browsers and devices.
- Code Optimization: Write clean, efficient code and enhance application performance for speed and scalability.
- Visual Communication: Assist in designing visual elements for reports, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Stay Informed: Keep up with current UI/UX trends, frontend technologies, and best practices.
Required Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or Product Designer.
- Strong Portfolio: Show proficiency in UI/UX design and frontend development, with links to live projects or code samples.
- Frontend Skills:
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with React and Tailwind CSS.
- Demonstrated ability in creating websites with Webflow or Elementor.
- Design Skills:
- Proficient in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Strong grasp of user-centered design principles and interaction design.
- Excellent attention to detail in visual design.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with a proven record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Version Control: Proficient in Git.
- Adept at simplifying complex concepts into intuitive interfaces and functional code.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in designing for technical users or complex B2B/SaaS platforms.
- Expertise in API documentation or cybersecurity interfaces.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
- Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest).
- Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Experience with frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite).
- Interest in Artificial Intelligence or AI Safety.
