Overview As a senior User Interface (UI) Developer with a passion that extends across full stack technologies, you will join a high performing team to design, implement and shape the future for a strategic global reporting platform used by groups across Risk, Finance and Treasury domains. Join us and you will be on the front lines of transformation for these groups - leveraging cutting edge open-source technologies and highly collaborative agile processes to deliver valuable business solutions that you can be proud of. You will share your passion for technical excellence and engage the full depth of your engineering skills in a diverse cross functional team that partners with business and technology experts globally to develop innovative solutions to complex business problems. You will engage with a rich platform that interfaces web based React components with Java micro services running in both on cloud and on premise networks, Oracle databases as well as Big Data processing with Scala and Spark. You will find opportunities for learning are plenty as the team explores new innovations such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as well as building re-usable libraries and components that can be leveraged in other systems across the Bank.

What You'll Do - Analyze user requirements and design appropriate solutions that best fit those requirements. Especially focused on building user friendly intuitive UI components
- Work in a cross functional agile feature team to design, develop, test and maintain solutions - including contributing to automated continuous integration/continuous deployment (or development) pipelines for applications begin developed
- Ensure that solutions are in line with department and domain architecture strategies and contribute to defining and improving those strategies
- Work with team members to adopt Behavior Driven Development and Test Drive Development practices - including helping to build, maintain and continually implement tests for an automated testing framework that includes unit testing and integration tests across components
- Work collaboratively - sharing knowledge and helping mentor teammates in your areas of expertise
Skills You'll Need - Advanced experience developing web applications with React (preferred) or Angular - ideally including development of reporting applications leveraging high performance data grids and reusable components
- Experience interfacing with, debugging and enhancing java spring boot applications with REST micro services
- Experience building re-usable user friendly and responsive React components that can be leveraged across applications with minimal coding/configuration changes
- Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills
Skills That Will Help You Excel - Willingness to work full stack (including front or back end if required) and be a catalyst for innovation amongst your team and beyond
- Quality focus - experience in test frameworks, test planning and execution in distributed systems
- A Finance Reporting background with understanding of banking and financial industry
- Partner with business and product stakeholders effectively to understand their requirements but help them understand options and tradeoffs for technical solutions
- Drive technical deliveries across teams globally to ensure dependencies are delivered effectively so that features of the larger platform work smoothly end to end
Expectations It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
