Convergent is a technology advisory firm which includes a focus on Convergent deployed and supported Unified Communications platforms.


Convergent staff members are design specialists in both unified communications systems and IT infrastructure. We support and deploy UC/UCaaS systems from Mitel, Cisco Systems, RingCentral, Zoom and other UCaaS/CCaaS Systems.


We are currently seeking a Senior UC Engineer to ensure excellence in the deployment and support of our Unified Communications Convergent One Managed Services clients and cloud clients. The perfect candidate will have well-rounded UC experience and certifications. This would include Mitel certifications in MiVoice Business, MiTel Contact Centers and MiCollab tools. Also, RingCentral, Zoom or other UCaaS certifications and experience. Cisco Unified Communications experience is a plus. Qualifications:

  • The right candidate will display outstanding interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and an outgoing personality.
  • Must have a valid driver's license to travel locally as well as occasional travel within the country.
  • 5+ years of UC experience.
  • Experience with installation, administration and troubleshooting of Mitel MiVoice Business, Mitel Contact Center, Mitel NuPoint, Mitel Border Gateway, Mitel Interaction Recording and Mitel Revolution.
  • Call Center administration.
  • ACD implementation, training and maintenance.
  • IVR and call routing programming and implementation.
  • Experience deploying and/or supporting UCaaS providers such as RingCentral, Zoom, WebEx, Vonage, Dialpad or others.
  • Cisco Unified Communications experience/certifications is a plus.
  • Mitel MiVoice Connect (ShoreTel) experience/certifications is a plus.
