Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting with required coursework and a CPA license.
- 10 years of experience in estate and trust tax planning and compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of private foundations, family office structures, and related tax issues.
- Expertise in current tax laws and regulations.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement customized tax strategies for high-net-worth clients to optimize wealth transfer and reduce tax liabilities.
- Partner with clients and professionals to ensure tax plans align with financial objectives.
- Oversee the preparation of estate and trust tax returns in compliance with regulations.
- Stay informed on tax code changes and advise on their implications.
- Guide the structuring and management of private foundations.
- Collaborate with family offices to resolve tax issues and enhance financial structures.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and growth-focused environment.
