Senior Training Specialist - Position Description We have immediate openings for Senior Training Specialist with a concentration in Small Boats to join our team. This position is in Washington, DC. We are headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA. Security Clearance: Applicant must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance. Position/Job Description: General Tasking Description: The Contractor shall provide training/technical support for concept studies; feasibility studies; preliminary design activities; contract design activities; detail design and construction activities; independent design reviews; In-service ship design and engineering activities; shipboard installation support; and special studies related to ships/boats/craft, ship systems and/or shipboard equipment.
The Contractor shall provide marine engineering and in-depth engineering support for the Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E); Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Intelligence (C4I); and mission equipment and systems installed aboard ships, boats, craft, and targets, including Combat Logistics Force (CLF), Special Mission Ships, and FMS assets.
Experience Requirements: 10+ years Curriculum development, Government technical management, or Industry business management
Navy Policies and Procedures (DoD 5000 process): experience communicating with Senior government and Industry personnel.
DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Foreign Military Sales; Military Sealift Command procedures and processes; Supervisory experience; ship building experience desired.
Educational & Certification Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or 15+ years of relevant experience.
Master's Degree in Engineering. Preferred
Professional Engineer License Preferred.
