ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Training and Development Specialist to join our team in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area. In this role you will design and conduct training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance. This person may analyze training needs. This role involves needs assessments, curriculum development, and training delivery using various methods, as well as ongoing evaluation and improvement of training programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Design, develop, and conduct training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance, aligning the training to the customer mission and needs for the NOSC NCCS contract
Lead and execute functional, performance, and continuing professional expertise for customer and team members
Collaborate with the functional areas, Knowledge Management, and stakeholders to refine the training to optimize the learning experience, maintaining the course material in a designated location for ease of access and self-paced training
Develop, support, and document analysis of required training and improvement of training program coordination recommendations for approval as needed
Create, maintain, and track contract personnel training compliance and maintenance of required certification providing status and detail reports on a recurring basis and as needed
Develops, updates, and maintains comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires and continuous learning opportunities for experienced staff
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members
Some travel may be required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Management, Data Analytics or related field 10+ years of experience in project management, data analytics, and financial modeling
Understanding of ITIL4 principles Minimum of Four (4) years of experience delivering and evaluating training courses, two (2) years of which must include experience in planning, assessing, designing, delivering, and evaluating a variety of complex training and organizational development programs pertaining to organization goals
Ability to conduct needs assessments and develop effective training solutions.
Experience in a variety of training methods, including workshops, online learning, and on-the-job training. Preferred Qualifications: ITIL4
PMO experience IT training development and experience Clearance Requirements: Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
The ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD suitability is required prior to starting this position. Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
