As a GE Appliances' Senior Commercial Trainer - Commercial AC, you'll be responsible for delivering impactful product knowledge and sales training for GE Appliances' commercial air conditioning products and brands, ensuring both customers and internal sales teams have the skills and knowledge needed for success. This role requires strong presentation and instructional abilities, the capacity to tailor training to diverse audiences, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams. With a focus on engaging delivery, problem-solving, and influencing skills, the Senior Commercial Trainer will drive learning initiatives that enhance product expertise, sales effectiveness, and customer engagement.

How You'll Create Possibilities Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Execute product knowledge and sales training classes nationwide for all GE Appliances brands focused on the commercial air conditioning market to top Customers (including the National, Groups/Independents, and Contract Customer audiences)
- Develop training materials for Commercial AC products and brands, including NPI and other initiatives
- Identify product training and selling skills level for targeted Air Conditioning retail and contract customers and tailor learning sessions to meet their needs
- Conduct Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions for field sales professionals on new product introductions (NPI)
- Deliver skills training for new and existing sales employees such as effective presentation skills, wholesale selling skills and retail selling skills
- Work alongside sellers and their managers to identify needs for internal sales team product and professional development
- Ensure strong communication link with Content Development Managers to stay current on product knowledge
- Support development of impactful, creative and relevant tools for Sales and Customer Sales Teams
- Coordinate and support National Account events and regional Air Conditioning distributor events, including roadshows, trade shows, 'lunch and learns' and other events to reach our diverse customer base
- Support Product Teams with Customer on-site visits that require product knowledge presentations
- Educate customer service and contact center training teams on NPI and current product information
- Additional training-related responsibilities as needed.

Preferred Competencies - Proficient in using various training tools and technologies, adapting content dynamically, and creating an engaging learning environment that ensures knowledge retention and application.
- Ability to utilize YouTube for broadcasting of training materials.
Educational and Experiential Background - A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, engineering, business or related field; or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 5+ years' experience in the air & water industry, or similar technical industry experience.
Preferred Education/Experience - Prior experience in a technical training environment.
Working Conditions & Travel Requirements - Working conditions are typical for an office environment.
- 30-50% ongoing travel required for attendance at trainings, trade shows, etc.
