The salary grade range is $94,810.51 to $150,352.02 USD

What We're Seeking

A strategic and results-driven Senior Trade Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of trade marketing strategies across retail channels for our branded and private label portfolio. This role plays a critical interface between sales, marketing, and finance teams, ensuring alignment on go-to-market plans, promotional activities, and customer-specific initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of shopper behavior, category trends, and trade dynamics to drive revenue growth and brand performance at the point of sale.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

As a valued member of the Food Solutions team, the Senior Trade Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with the Sales, Marketing and Finance Organizations. Key responsibilities include the following:


Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:
    Develop and implement integrated trade marketing plans by channel and key account, aligned with brand and commercial objectives.
  • Channel & Customer Insights:
    Leverage market data, consumer insights, and retail analytics to identify growth opportunities and tailor strategies for different customer segments.
  • Promotional Strategy:
    Design and execute customer-specific promotions, in-store activation programs, and POS materials to maximize visibility and conversion.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with brand marketing, sales, category management, and supply chain teams to ensure executional excellence and consistency across channels.
  • Budget Management:
    Manage trade marketing budgets effectively, ensuring strong ROI on all investments and adherence to financial controls.
  • Performance Analysis:
    Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trade initiatives through KPIs such as sales uplift, promotional ROI, share of shelf, and retailer compliance.
  • Retail Execution:
    Support field sales teams with tools, assets, and guidelines to drive in-store excellence and best-in-class merchandising.
  • Innovation & Best Practices:
    Identify and implement best practices and new trade marketing trends that enhance brand performance at retail.

What You'll Need (Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA preferred.

7+ years of experience in trade marketing or related roles within the CPG industry.

Strong understanding of retail channels (grocery, drug, mass, convenience, eCommerce).

Proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams.

Analytical mindset with proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Nielsen, Power BI and CRM.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated success in building and executing effective trade marketing plans.
