Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering or Mathematics (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems).
Certification: Must have SEC+; Must possess Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification.

Ten (10) years of experience with a Master's degree OR fourteen (14) years with a Bachelor's degree in professional software or systems engineering and testing roles.Experience with research, design, and development of computer/network software or specialized utility programs, which may include database maintenance.Demonstrated experience applying programming concepts and modern software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps, DevSecOps) in professional or academic environments.
Highly specialized in one or more phases of systems engineering and testing Evaluate a broad range of information system issues including integration, compatibility, and cross-platform performance Analyze the effectiveness and applicability of complex IT systems Collaborate with test engineers to develop test cases and formal test plans for large-scale information systems Provide testing input into program engineering and acquisition documents Execute tests and report software/system defects clearly and accurately Track bugs/discrepancies and ensure issues are resolved and integrated into the system Perform complex and repetitive testing to ensure systems meet specifications and operational requirements Participate in quality assurance, system certification, and readiness reviews Coordinate with development teams to improve software reliability and performance Certifications (Preferred):Certified Software Tester (CSTE), ISTQB, or equivalent
Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or Cypress Experience in CI/CD environments and tools (Jenkins, Git, GitLab) Background in testing applications in AWS or hybrid cloud environments Strong understanding of DoD compliance standards (FedRAMP, RMF, NIST) Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and secure code validation Exceptional attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills
