ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Telecommunications Engineering to join our team in DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area. In this role you will design or configure voice, video, and data communications systems. You will also be responsible for supervising installation and post-installation service and maintenance. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support the enterprise architecture, design, development, and deployment of network services in support of government customer; perform and oversee site installations/post installation service and maintenance, technology refresh, develop implementation plans and schedules
Research and implement enterprise-wide network solutions, voice, video, data capabilities, and enhancements to support customer business/mission goals and objectives, while complying with the network architecture and design standards
Produce SELC project artifacts such as requirements, design documents, diagrams, and other required documentation
Troubleshoot network incidents, providing root cause analysis and documenting information in tickets and knowledge repositories, support network traffic analysis and bandwidth optimization efforts
Coordinate system maintenance, monitoring, and installation of multiple WAN/LAN environments encompassing multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies
Assist with development and execution of test plans and supporting documentation for network configuration upgrades, installations, additions, or revisions
Collaborate and capture customer requirements, presenting customer requirements in technical exchanges with other government agencies; assist in the development and management of network architecture diagrams Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 9+ years of relative experience
8570 Compliant certifications (IAM III/IAT III) and CCNA certification
Hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, and firewall technology
Experience with primary network topologies, LANs, WANs and other common network standards
Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and QoS, MPLS
Very strong knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, GRE, IPSEC, and VRF) Preferred Qualifications: PMP
One of the following certifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Data Management Pr5ofessional (CDMP), Six Sigma Certification, ITIL4 Master's Degree Clearance Requirements: Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
The ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD suitability is required prior to starting this position. Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
