JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Communications Engineer works to develop and implement communications solutions within the TriNet environment as specified by the requirements. This individual will also be responsible for day to day support of the entire communications landscape. This individual serves as the technical lead and must have expert proficiency in in the communications infrastructure and systems. This individual will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining voice solutions using Amazon Connect, helping to ensure seamless communication between our customers and business operations.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
% TIME

• Design, configure, and deploy Amazon Connect voice solutions for inbound and outbound contact center environments with Service Cloud Voice. 25%

• Implement and manage Amazon Connect features such as IVR, routing profiles, queues, contact flows 25%

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, gather feedback, and implement scalable voice solutions. 15%

• Provide hands-on expertise in integrating Amazon Connect with other AWS services, such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and more. 10%

• Consult leadership providing input to capital and expense budgets for the development, enhancement, and/or maintenance of designated communications technologies. 5%

• Create and maintain documentation for solution configurations, workflows, and best practices. 10%

• Serve as a technical support escalation point for all communications systems; troubleshoot complex or high impact issues determining root cause; 10%

QUALIFICATIONS

Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred - preferred

Work Experience
Typically 8+ years Experience with both on-prem and SaaS communication solutions - Required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent verbal, written communication, customer service and analytical skills
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or other relevant AWS certifications.
Familiarity with Amazon Lex, Amazon Polly, and AWS Connect Streams
Python or similar programming experience
Ability to troubleshoot voice and telephony issues, with an understanding of voice network protocols like SIP and WebRTC
Advanced Microsoft Office 365 and other standard software skills
Experience with contact center reporting, analytics, and performance optimization tools.
Advanced Networking technologies skills understanding DHCP, DNS, VLANS, TCP/IP protocols, and troubleshooting skills
Expert programming or scripting skills
Ability to work with networking monitoring tools
A/V system design

The salary range for this role is $77,900.00 to $155,800.00. The candidate's final salary offer will be based on the candidate's skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate's compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet's corporate bonus plan.
