Rate: $106.10/Hr

Job Description:
  • The Senior Technical Project Manager will work closely with the Parametric Infrastructure Program Manager, Cloud Enablement to support program growth, uphold project management principles in a newly established team and deliver cross-functional infrastructure projects to completion. Key strengths include:
  • Stakeholder management with effective communication and ability to develop strong professional relationships,
  • Risk management understanding the US financial services environment,
  • Heavy focus on prioritization,
  • Passion for agile/scrum methodology.
  • Proven track record of taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
  • Project technologies primarily include public cloud, on-premises or hosted IT infrastructure and application support.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee program/project portfolio for multiple business centers, working closely with the Program Manager and stakeholders to align business objectives, strategies, and delivery requirements.
  • Develop project plans, specifications, and other related project administration tasks.
  • Manage a backlog of work.
  • Gather and document technical, functional, and business requirements.
  • Track project status for all legacy application projects for Parametric, identifying potential delays and risks and communicating project status on a timely and regular basis.
  • Participate and lead complex project planning sessions; comfortable applying both waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Manage and monitor project issues, risks, budget, and escalations.
  • Work with the project teams to improve processes and remove roadblocks.
Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience building and leading agile teams to deliver effective enterprise solutions preferably in financial services organization.
  • Experience with leading, managing and participating in cross-functional IT, Infrastructure, Cloud projects.
  • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure domains: cloud, networking, storage, virtualization, high availability, and disaster recovery.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills that produce effective and collaborative cross-functional teams.
  • Highly tuned process analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in small, mid, and large-scale project management, including the management of project teams.
  • Ability to deliver under stress in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
  • In-depth experience with Jira and Confluence; knowledge and workflow management.
Desired Skills:
  • PMP, CSM certifications strongly preferred
  • Leadership experience as a Project Manager or roles in similar capacity
  • Strong experience managing AWS or Azure projects
  • Passion for people, learning and innovation
  • Process driven and structured
