Brooksource is looking for a Conference Room Project Manager to be a part of our Fortune 500 financial services client's team. As a Sr. Technical Project Manager, you'll provide a hybrid of cross-functional project management and Organizational Change Management expertise and consultation to meet department and cross-departmental goals. You will plan, monitor and manage technology projects and coordinate across multiple teams, with a primary focus on the implementation of the next generation of conference room and virtual meeting technology.
At a minimum, this role is required to be on-site per departmental guidelines of 3 days per week, Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays with the option to work remotely Thursdays and Fridays. You will also need to be on site as deemed necessary by the project you support, meaning some weeks will require your presence on-site for all 5 days. You will need to be available during core business hours the identified by the teams you support, typically 8am-5pm CST.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in, Business, Project Management or related field preferred OR a significant amount of directly-related work experience beyond the minimum required for the position with PMP certification.
Minimum 5 years of experience/knowledge in processes and technology project management to include analysis, documentation and a strong focus on communication and budgeting.
Working with technicians & vendors to plan, deliver, monitor, & triage hardware installation.
Experience with technology deployment.
Experience with conference room technology (Zoom, etc.).
Ability to work with general direction to scope, plan and manage multi-department projects.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large and highly complex technology assignments.
Excellent ability to effectively present information in a variety of formal settings (one-on-one, small and large group, peers, subordinates and organization leadership).
What you'll do each day:
Project Planning: Create and manage project plans for new conference room tool implementations, including scope, timeline, and resource allocation.
Technology Deployment: Oversee the installation and configuration of new conference room technologies, ensuring integration with existing systems.
Coordination: Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and vendors to ensure smooth technology deployment and resolve any issues.
Project Management: Track project progress, manage risks, and ensure deliverables meet quality and budget standards.
Vendor Management: Handle vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements to support successful technology deployment.
Change Management: Develop and deliver training for users on new technologies and manage change to ensure smooth adoption.
Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including plans, technical specs, and user guides, and provide status reports.
Quality Assurance: Assist in t esting new tools for functionality and resolve any issues before full deployment.
Post-Implementation Support: Oversee ongoing support and maintenance for new technologies, addressing user feedback and optimizing performance.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements for future technology deployments.
