Award-winning financial institution is seeking a Senior Technical Operations Specialist/Service Delivery Manager to oversee Service Delivery, Incident Management, Change Management, and Vendor Management. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth delivery of IT services across Europe and coordinate incident, change, and vendor management activities.
Knowledge and Skills
- Extensive incident management experience in an investment banking environment.
- In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Experience in vendor management, including onboarding, contract negotiation, and supplier reviews.
- Strong understanding of DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of change management processes within IT.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage two London-based administrators.
- Handle ordering and invoice payments.
- Coordinate incident management communications within the UK and Europe, focusing on DORA compliance.
- Produce monthly incident management reports.
- Generate monthly and quarterly status reports.
- Manage ongoing vendor relationships.
- Onboard new suppliers/vendors.
- Conduct regular reviews with existing suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts for IT services.
- Chair weekly review meetings for IT changes affecting Europe and produce weekly change reports.
