Senior Technical Business Analyst

Contract Type: W2 Duration: 6+ Months Location: Toronto, ON - Onsite Pay Range: $83.00 - $88.00 per hour Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic and highly technical Business Analyst with a strong foundation in finance and wealth management, complemented by deep technical skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and documenting business requirements at an attribute level, including both functional and non-functional aspects, specifically within the domain of standard Book of record files. This role requires a candidate who can effectively bridge the gap between technical processes and the wealth business sector, facilitating the transformation and interpretation of data for strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Document current and future state process flows, including detailed attribute-level requirements. Analyze and interpret ECDIC file layouts, documenting transformation rules for downstream ETL processes. Work closely within the wealth management domain to ensure technical solutions meet business needs. Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements. Maintain a detailed understanding of standard Book of Record files, including positions, transactions, accounts, etc., from sources such as ISM, Dataphile, Client ADP. Must Have Skills: Strong documentation skills, particularly for process flows and technical requirements. Ability to interpret file layouts and define ETL transformation rules. Solid understanding of wealth management principles and financial analysis. Domain Experience Required: Wealth Management/Finance industry background is essential. Preference for candidates holding degrees in Economics, Finance, or Business, with relevant industry certifications (CIM, CSC, CFA) and a strong foundation in technical disciplines (e.g., Computer Science).
