Senior Technical Architect (Multiple Openings)

What You'll Do at Pega: - Ensure client success by leveraging technical skills to meet the challenges required to deliver the next generation customer centric solutions.
- Provide thought leadership to members, partners, and clients to deliver scalable and resilient solutions for the next generation customer centric solutions.
- Mentor team members on emerging technologies employed by Pega Infinity.
- Provide support and technical governance on one or more projects at a single client.
- Act as subject matter expert and pro-actively respond to ad-hoc questions.
- Work alongside our world leading clients and partners to deliver high quality technical solutions across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- For continuous employment, must acquire Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA) certification within 30 days of hire and Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA) certification within 90 days of hire.
What You've Accomplished: - Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study, and
- 7 years of experience in any job title/occupation/position involving building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions.
- Will accept Master's degree and 5 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree and 7 years of experience.
- Requires 5 years of experience with each of the following:
- Object-oriented techniques and principles;
- Technologies including Cloud Technologies, Application Servers, Relational and non-Relational Databases, and JVM Technologies;
- 2 or more of the following technologies, including Performance Tuning, Load Testing, Kafka, Cassandra, HazelCast or ElasticSearch.
- Requires 4 years of experience with each of the following:
- All phases of software development including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of large-scale, business centric and process-based applications;
- Advocating and leveraging above technologies to meet customer requirements; and
- Explaining technology and concepts to IT stakeholders.
- Primarily North American work hours: 9AM EST to 6PM EST.
- Must be willing to work in shifts to support client time zones internationally.
- Requires up to 75% domestic travel to various unanticipated worksites.
- Telecommuting permitted.
- May live anywhere in the U.S.
