Job Details

Position Overview
As a Tax Manager, you will play a key leadership role in managing complex tax engagements for real estate clients, including partnerships, S corporations, and multi-tier structures. You'll lead teams, work directly with clients, and be a trusted advisor on technical and strategic tax matters. Key Responsibilities
Manage and review federal and multi-state tax returns, with a primary focus on real estate entities including partnerships and S corporations.
Lead tax engagements from planning through completion, effectively delegating work and managing workflow to meet deadlines.
Identify and resolve complex tax issues, performing technical research and staying current with tax law changes.
Provide proactive tax planning and consulting services to clients, including structuring real estate transactions and navigating partnership allocations.
Mentor and train junior team members, fostering professional development and technical growth.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact for tax matters.
Collaborate with firm leadership to support business development and contribute to firm strategy and process improvement.

Qualifications
CPA license required.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant tax experience in public accounting, with a strong emphasis on real estate clients.
Deep knowledge of partnership taxation, including 704(b) allocations, 754 elections, and real estate-specific issues such as depreciation and 1031 exchanges.
Proven leadership and staff management experience.
Excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented, and entrepreneurial environment.
