We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Tax Manager to join our dynamic team in the Accounting and Finance industry. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with non-profit organizations. The Senior Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing tax planning, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with international, federal, state, and local tax laws. This role is ideal for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive knowledge of non-profit tax regulations and forms such as 990-EZ, 990 N, Form 990, Form 1023, Form 1024, and Form 8868.

1. Oversee and manage the preparation and review of non-profit tax returns (990-EZ, 990 N, Form 990, Form 1023, Form 1024, and Form 8868).
2. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for non-profit clients.
3. Ensure compliance with international, federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
4. Advise non-profit clients on tax-related issues and strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
5. Maintain current knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and ensure that clients are informed of relevant changes that may affect them.
6. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure the accuracy of tax data.
7. Lead and mentor junior staff members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and strategic advice based on their specific needs.

Job Details

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation is a plus.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on non-profit tax services.
4. Extensive knowledge and experience with non-profit tax forms (990-EZ, 990 N, Form 990, Form 1023, Form 1024, Form 8868).
5. Strong understanding of international, federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
6. Exceptional client service skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
11. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
12. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
