Overview We are seeking a Azure Cloud Architect with broad experience working in a Hybrid Cloud/On-Prem environment and the ability to design and develop cross technology solutions. As a valuable East West Bank team member, your duties (not limited to) will include:
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated dynamic environments to support the needs of delivery teams
- Collaborate with other engineers to develop deployment strategies for existing and new services
- Evaluate and implement technologies that improve efficiency, performance, scale and reliability
- Cost and performance optimize new and existing cloud resources
- Develop and deliver creative solutions that automate systems functions
- Build and configure components in an Azure cloud platform
- Developing and maintaining scripts to automate deployment of infrastructure, code and other tasks
- Support the organization in maturing the infrastructure into a fully automated, service-oriented, hybrid IT.
- Deploy, configure, and support cloud IaaS and PaaS infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve service-related issues
- Manage assigned projects
- Provide technical assistance and support
- Collaborate with Systems Team Members and Management as well as Development, and Application Support Teams
- Any other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, building, developing, and managing Azure Cloud technologies
- Prior experience with Network and/or Systems Engineering is preferred
- 5+ years of experience working in or with DevOps teams, developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps is required
- Experience with Git and repos such as Github, or Azure Devops
- Advanced Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and PaaS services in Azure needed
- Knowledge of cloud networking architecture, cloud operations, security, automation and orchestration
- Experience with the implementation and/or operations of medium to large-scale enterprise cloud infrastructures
- Experience with creating and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform and ARM templates
- Linux (RHEL and Ubuntu) and Windows experience needed
- Experience with High Availability/Site Recovery design principles
- Experience scripting in one of the following: Powershell, Bash, Python ect
- Familiarity with Jira or equivalent project tracking tool(s)
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage to tight deadlines with a mindset for flexibility
- Excel in a fast-paced environment and ability to partner, adjust priorities and deadlines as need to meet the larger business goals
Compensation The base pay range for this position is USD $110,000.00/Yr. - USD $170,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
