Maximus is looking for a dedicated Senior Systems Architecture Analyst to join our team and provide invaluable support to a government client.

Important Notes: This is an on-site position in Arlington, VA, requiring full-time commitment, five days a week, and an active TS/SCI clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and design IT systems to enhance the enterprise architecture.
  • Leverage knowledge of systems, programming, and organizational needs to optimize IT solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with open systems architectures and relevant standards.
  • Align IT strategies with departmental objectives and investment requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Cyber Team to integrate cybersecurity measures into enterprise solutions.
  • Develop technical standards to ensure interoperability and consistency across systems.
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to uncover design needs.
  • Create solutions that satisfy both business and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Identify and propose enhancements to existing architectures.
  • Document technical mappings of COTS product data elements to Logical Data Models.
  • Assist in preparing solution product costs for effective procurement.
  • Work internally to craft strategic architecture and systems integration plans.
  • Provide status updates and manage project risks or opportunities for senior leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance is a must.
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; additional relevant experience may substitute for degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in large-scale IT project execution and management.
  • Experience with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks like DoDAF and UAF and developing related artifacts.
Preferred Experience:
  • 2+ years in DoD Information Technology.
  • 2+ years in IT Enterprise Architecture.
  • 2+ years supporting policy development and requirements generation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Cameo/NoMagic or similar tools.
