Job DescriptionSenior Systems Architect (Hybrid - Columbia, SC)
The Senior Systems Architect is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and other modules. The Senior Architect also performs the duties as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ServiceNow. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
What you will do:
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements.
- Customize and configure ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and applications.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
- Perform system administration tasks, including user management, security, and data management.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the ServiceNow platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
What you will need:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field preferred.
- 8 to 10 years of IT ServiceNow work experience in performing system planning, architecture design, engineering (hardware and software) and optimization
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications, preferred.
- Proficient in high level administration and architecture duties in the following areas: Javascript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and web services
