Senior Systems and Test Engineer with Security Clearance

Description Assured Information Security (AIS) has an opening for a Senior Systems and Test Engineer. In this role, you'll lead the Testing and Systems engineering team for the SecureView product. This is a hybrid position with the ability to wok onsite 3 days per week. Relocation assistance available What You'll Do: Develop complex software components from initial design through testing, deployment, and release. Develop and oversee content for user manuals, training materials, proposals, test plans, and technical documentation
Identify, understand, and provide creative solutions to advance software performance
Evaluate tasks and deliverables for technical quality, ensuring solutions are engineered in a sensible and maintainable fashion Audit and verify the work of others
Participate in design and architecture discussions Utilize and further develop test automation frameworks Maintain and implement test infrastructure Identify and anticipate infrastructure testing issues
Provide consultation to customers regarding testing approaches and practices
Collaboratively developing and maintaining the project roadmap with management
Education/Experience/Skillset Required: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline and 8 years' experience in quality/test engineering, system engineering or networking installation and administration; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 years of familiarity with Linux and/or Windows
5 years knowledge of networking appliances 2 years of understanding of industry standard tools
Previous experience with the SecureView product preferred
IT infrastructure knowledge preferred
Networking knowledge & troubleshooting preferred
Penetration testing preferred

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package which includes employer paid health insurance and a 7% contribution to your 401k, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
