Job Summary
The San Diego Unified School District is currently seeking a Senior Systems Analyst-Programmer to perform a variety of complex duties in the analysis, design, programming, testing, implementation and maintenance of the district's administrative and instructional support systems. Provide district departments and personnel with information technology and procedural solutions to support specific functionality requirements.
The Senior Systems Analyst/Programmer will work as a member of a team that has responsibility for the full lifecycle development of custom, in-house web applications and analytics tools. This includes working collaboratively with stakeholders to gather requirements, designing technical solutions, developing both front-end and back-end components, implementing relational database integrations, conducting testing and validation, and maintaining applications post-deployment. The team's focus is on building secure, scalable, and user-friendly tools that support administrative and instructional needs across the district.
POSITION SPECIFICS:
Working Location is based out of the Data Insights and Systems Support Department - 4100 Normal Street, San Diego, CA 92103
Scheduled for 40 hours per week, 12-months per year
