Senior System Analyst
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior System Analyst to join a first-class organization.
- RESPONSIBILITIES:You will spend approximately 25% of your time gathering and documenting requirements, 25% on research and communicating with users, 25% on QA and testing, 20% on maintaining deliverables and support, and 5% on SQL Scripting and data analysis.
- Act as the liaison between users and developers.
- Elicit, analyze, document, communicate, and validate business and system requirements. Be the user advocate.
- Represent the needs of business customers from requirements through design validation and testing.
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives for complex business systems.
- Assist with coming up with and implementing new/modified processes.
- Oversee the operations of the Help Desk (operated by an MSP onsite) to ensure the timely and effective resolution of technical support requests, implementation of service improvement initiatives, and adherence to established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Provide leadership and guidance to help desk staff, develop training programs, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with other IT teams to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
- Maintain a current working knowledge of how all components of the company's technology infrastructure interact.
- Offer creative proposals for new projects and improvement of existing applications.
- Assist in solving business problems, troubleshooting, identifying workarounds for defects identified, and participating in root cause analysis.
- Assist with the review and selection of new business systems.
- Assist in all application development and deployment aspects, including requirements gathering, application programming, database design, migration, server configuration, testing, documentation, research, and maintenance.
- Lead and manage projects.
- Assist customers with developing, presenting, and maintaining training on their applications. Assume lead responsibility for training on information services applications and platforms.
This is a direct-hire position based in the Sandy Springs/Marietta area.
