Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: 37,158.58 per annum (including sleep-in shifts), increasing to 38,038.42 per annum after successful completion of the probation period.

Location: Derby

About the Role:

We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker, providing care and support to young people aged 8-18. Our client offers a nurturing and developmental environment for young people who have faced significant challenges and trauma in their lives, creating a rewarding workplace for their team.

The role involves working on a 3-week rolling rota, totalling 56.4 hours per week (including sleep-in shifts). The working pattern typically consists of one day on and two days off. Sleep shifts are included in the annual salary, even during periods of annual leave.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a residential childcare setting or similar environment.
  • Experience in managing a team is preferred.
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce is advantageous.
  • A valid UK driving license is essential.
