Description:Reporting to the Dean of Students and Diversity and Inclusions Officer, this position performs a full range of high-level secretarial duties for the Law School Student Affairs Office with a focus on assisting the Associate Director of International Programs and Student Affairs and the Director of Externships and Pro Bono Programs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Schedules meetings, maintains calendars, screens calls, and assists visitors.
- Prepares and processes administrative forms, general correspondence, acceptance letters, program promotional material, check requisitions, and travel expense reports.
- Assists in planning campus events, which includes event description and calendar submission, scheduling facilities, ordering campus catering, and preparing invitations, marketing materials, and emails.
- Coordinates travel and conference arrangements for department administrators.
- Prepares and gathers documents for International Programs and Experiential Programs.
- Tracks all outstanding items and follows up as appropriate until completion.
- Maintains files of records in compliance with ABA rules.
- Monitors department websites and contact lists for required updates.
- Assists with all departmental events including orientation and commencement.
- May perform other duties not specifically identified above, but which require the same degree of skills, and which are normally included within the above job title.
Hours: Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Qualifications:- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel required.
- Excellent typing, computer skills, interpersonal skills, and professional communication.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Must be detail oriented and a team player.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience using Chrome River or other travel expense reporting system is preferred.
- Experience using Ellucian Banner is a plus.
