Key responsibilities for Senior Superintendent - OSHPD Construction in Long Beach
Oversee day-to-day field operations on OSHPD projects, ensuring schedule, quality, and safety targets are met
Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and OSHPD regulations
Lead site meetings and maintain proactive communication with clients, project managers, and stakeholders
Mentor and manage assistant superintendents and field staff
Proactively resolve field issues and maintain clear documentation of jobsite activities
Ensure quality control procedures are followed and project goals are achieved
Profile
A successful Candidate for Senior Superintendent - OSHPD Construction in Long Beach
10+ years of experience in building and construction, with an emphasis on OSHPD construction.
Strong track record managing OSHPD-regulated projects from preconstruction through closeout
Deep understanding of California building codes, healthcare construction regulations, and OSHPD processes
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
OSHA 30 certification required; CPR/First Aid preferred
Ability to work on-site and manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
