What You'll Do:
- Lead investigation, assessment, and restoration of structural systems, facades, balconies, plaza decks, and parking structures.
- Develop repair drawings, specifications, and restoration strategies for concrete, steel, masonry, and waterproofing systems.
- Conduct site investigations, condition assessments, and forensic evaluations of distressed structures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Oversee and mentor junior staff, review technical work, and manage project delivery.
- Stay current with NYC DOB/FISP (LL11) and related restoration codes and standards.
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years of structural engineering experience, with a strong focus on restoration and rehabilitation.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) - required.
- Deep knowledge of building envelope systems, concrete repair, facade stabilization, waterproofing, and FISP compliance.
- Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's a plus).
- Strong technical writing and project management skills.
- Experience in client-facing roles and team leadership.
