Senior Social Strategist - Freelance (West Coast PST Hours)
Who we are looking for:
VML is seeking a Senior Social Strategist/Social Manager to join VML. You're an organized, detail-oriented campaign orchestrator who loves knowing the ins and outs of social media tools, strategies, technology and processes. You'll plan, coordinate and execute a brand's strategy for all things social content and programs, and help uncover insights that can guide a brand's ideas and decisions, again, in all things 'social'.
What you'll do:
- Partner with creative, strategy, data and media teams to support a brand's social strategy and social marketing goals
- Organize, QA, configure, tag and schedule social media content for publishing, ensuring compliance with channel specs, legal and regulatory guidelines
- Create and manage social media strategic content calendars
- Plan and execute social media strategic campaigns that support key brand milestones and tentpole events
- Keep a pulse on current events, online trends and potential controversies or threats relevant to the brand
Who you are:
- 1-3 years of social marketing experience
- 1-3 years of Brand Strategy experience, with a focus on Social Strategies
- Experience working independently and ability to move projects forward without detailed direction
- Understanding of social platforms and functions, and the ability to share that knowledge with others
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Ability to present to clients and co-create solutions with them
