Your Career
Join our Prisma Access Cloud Service team as a Software Engineer in Test, where you will design, develop, and deliver cutting-edge technologies. You will build, automate, and execute performance testing scenarios for our products within virtualized environments.

We're on the lookout for technically adept individuals eager to gain hands-on experience with a vast array of networking technologies. Collaborating closely with development and product management teams, you will test and present your findings to explore innovative solutions.

As part of your role, you'll engage in design discussions, making a significant impact on the future direction of our software. You'll enhance the efficiency and reliability of our products through thorough testing to uncover potential risks, bugs, or issues, ensuring an exceptional experience for our end users. Your commitment to excellence means you won't rest until you've ensured the highest quality for the products you develop. You'll enjoy the challenge of identifying and resolving code issues, combining your analytical skills with a creative approach to testing.

Your Impact
  • Design, develop, and execute test automation for our next-generation security platform as part of Prisma Access Cloud Service.
  • Implement inventive testing approaches by building tools and automation scripts.
  • Propose and execute improvements to the testing process.
  • Document bugs and collaborate with Development to resolve identified issues.
  • Integrate your creative skills into a focused testing methodology to produce top-quality cybersecurity products.
  • Engage in thorough testing of specifications while assisting the team with testing methods or tools for new testing approaches.
  • Gain experience working across various public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) to automate cloud orchestration, visualization, and alerting mechanisms.
Your Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in relevant fields.
  • M.S./B.S. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent military experience required.
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages, including Python or Go.
  • Deep understanding of L4-L7 protocols, such as HTTP, IPSec, BGP, L3 VPNs, SD-WAN, DHCP, and UDP.
  • Expertise in REST API-driven automation using Python or Go.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Robot Framework, Pytest, or Kotlin.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience with database clusters like MySQL, BigQuery, Redis, Zookeeper, and Neo4j.
  • Familiarity with Linux, ESXi Virtualization, or Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary plus commission target (for sales roles) is expected to be between $126,000 and $200,500 per year. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and bonuses.
