Senior Staff Backend Engineer to play a pivotal role in a groundbreaking venture.

Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership (70%) - Design and implement highly available, secure integration systems that meet our evolving needs.
- Build and maintain scalable connectors for ERP and healthcare APIs.
- Lead design discussions, develop production-grade code, and optimize performance effectively.
- Advocate for clean, observable systems with exceptional testing, CI/CD, and alerting practices.
- Enhance automation and resilience with innovative, scalable infrastructure.
Cross-Functional Collaboration (20%) - Work in partnership with clients and vendors to clearly define and deliver integration solutions.
- Support integration rollouts and act as a vital resource for troubleshooting production issues.
- Collaborate effectively with product, customer success, and engineering teams to ensure aligned priorities.
Mentorship & Strategy (10%) - Guide and mentor fellow engineers on integration patterns and system design best practices.
- Influence architectural decisions and actively contribute to shaping our technical roadmap.
- Introduce new tools, frameworks, and best practices to elevate team capabilities.
What We Seek: - 8+ years of engineering experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or integrations.
- Proven expertise in designing and scaling distributed systems and real-time APIs.
- Fluency in Ruby, Python, or TypeScript (experience in all three is a plus).
- In-depth understanding of API design (REST, GraphQL, SOAP) and secure data flows.
- Familiarity with observability, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.
- Commitment to writing clean, reliable code and inspiring others to follow suit.
