What You'll Do as the Senior Staff Accountant: -
Perform and oversee monthly close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with accuracy and timeliness

Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and grant documentation

Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies

Support audit processes and provide documentation as needed

Collaborate with departments across the organization for budget and reporting support
What You Bring as the Senior Staff Accountant: -
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with 3-5 years of relevant experience-preferably in a non-profit or arts-focused organization.

Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar), with advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.

Strong understanding of GAAP and fund accounting principles.

Highly detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple priorities, with strong communication skills and a collaborative, arts-driven mindset.
