Sr. Marketing Specialist, Tradeshows & Events (Contract to Hire)

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Tradeshow & Events marketer to join our team and help us elevate our brand presence through strategic event management. This is a contract-to-hire opening.

Job Overview:

The Tradeshow & Events marketer will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing all aspects of tradeshows and hosted events to enhance our brand visibility and drive business growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • implement the comprehensive tradeshow and events strategy that aligns with overall marketing and business goals.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute tradeshows, conferences, and hosted events, ensuring all logistics are managed efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including leadership, business development, visual design, digital marketing, and our consultant line partners, to ensure cohesive messaging and branding as well as event ROI.
  • Manage and track event budgets, including negotiating contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers to optimize spend.
  • Analyze event performance and ROI, providing insights and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Oversee the creation of event materials, including signage, and promotional items.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, including conference event organizers, restaurant managers and industry associations.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance event strategies.
  • Coordinate post-event follow-up activities, including lead management and feedback collection.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in event planning and management, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale tradeshows and events.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well across the marketing team & build relationships with senior leaders within the firm
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools; Salesforce & Pardot expertise a plus
  • Ability to travel as required for events.

Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role is listed below. Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our bonus structure and benefits is here. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.

Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Eligibility for ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available upon hire date.
