Senior Sourcing Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiating favorable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers to support cost savings and operational goals.
- Preparing and processing requisitions and purchase orders for technical equipment, custom-engineered products, systems, software, or components.
- Acquiring and maintaining a deep understanding of industry technology trends, market forces, cost trends, and supplier technology roadmaps.
- Reviewing purchase order claims and contracts for alignment with company policies and standards.
- Discussing product defects and delivery issues with suppliers and negotiating solutions, including refunds or replacements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support new product development, supplier selection, and supplier performance evaluation.
- Conducting market analysis and supplier benchmarking to identify sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Utilizing ERP systems (such as SAP or AS400) and Excel to manage sourcing data, track supplier performance, and generate reporting for leadership.
Qualifications:
- Degree required.
- Minimum of 2 or more years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or a related supply chain function.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience working with ERP systems, such as SAP or AS400.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills are preferred.
- Experience with sourcing in a technical or manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with cost analysis tools, supplier risk assessments, and sourcing software is preferred.
