What you'll be able to do:

Senior Solution Architect - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Position reports to Dearborn, MI office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Guide the product teams to define, assemble and integrate components (examples: hardware, software, requirements for availability, scalability, and reliability). Work with the product team in the development of the technical design and define new solutions with a current platform to better developer experience. Provide support such as troubleshooting application performance issues. Guide product teams to define new solutions and integrations with other customer-facing products. Participate in emerging tech trends and provide emerging trends review, strategy development, and requirements analysis. Employ Architectural knowledge related to DevOps pipelines to assist agile, product teams to develop their strategy and direction related to development tools and enablement. Provide architectural guidance and recommend appropriate technologies related to SaaS, GCP implementation, and data management to ensure projects are scalable, reliable, and performant-in compliance with enterprise strategic direction. Engage in comparative analysis of new products, build vs. buy decisions and assist in maintaining technology roadmaps regarding DevOps-related deliverables.

You'll have

A bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience architecting and crafting interoperability solutions for an enterprise solution on large-scale projects and incorporating all levels of architecture development with GitHub, Nexus, jFrog, Jenkins, Rally Kubernetes, or OpenShift. Also requires 5 years of experience performing infrastructure provisioning, solution architecture, design, and development. Requires 2 years of experience: implementing and executing on Agile DevOps and CI/CD practices and pipelines; and working with Cloud Technologies.

We are offering a salary of $132,350.00 - $215,001.00/yr.
