The National Security Sector at Leidos is searching for a dedicated Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to support exciting programs within our Cyber & Analytics Business Area. If you possess an active TS/SCI Polygraph, we want to hear from you.

Sign-on Bonus: $25,000.

As a vital part of our team, you will drive quality assurance initiatives, ensuring excellence in our software development processes. You will work collaboratively to maintain our Quality Management System (QMS) and engage in continuous improvement activities. We're looking for someone passionate about quality, highly motivated, and capable of quickly establishing productive relationships across various teams.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the program team to implement and execute the QMS for Software Development and Testing.
  • Recommend and facilitate continuous process improvement activities.
  • Assist in developing and deploying the QMS and its processes across the software development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the development of performance metrics for accountability.
  • Document nonconformities and manage root cause analysis along with corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support management reporting, including Quality Management Reviews and Monthly Operational Reviews.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 8 years of related experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Java/Java Scripts and Static/Dynamic Analysis Tools.
  • Familiarity with software development quality assurance management and process audits.
  • Experience in providing Quality Management for Software Development and IT Service Management Projects.
  • Strong analytical skills for collecting and interpreting data, producing actionable metrics.
  • The ability to multi-task and work effectively with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, & Project).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Software Development Management and Risk Management.
  • Understanding of 508 compliance.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Software Configuration auditing and peer review processes.
  • Proven track record with large software/IT programs.
