The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos is actively seeking a talented and experienced
Senior Software Integration Engineer for a strategic program focused on High-Performance Computing (HPC). Location: These positions will be onsite. Candidates need to be located near Annapolis, MD, or Saratoga Springs, UT, to be considered.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide expert customer support for HPC software to ensure the uninterrupted operation of High-Performance Computers. You will also support various UNIX, LINUX, and Windows systems, as well as desktop applications, servers, and networks aligned with mission objectives.
Essential Qualifications: - Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- IAT Level II Certification is mandatory, with accepted certifications including RHCSA or higher Red Hat certifications, and/or VMware certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 12 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
- Alternately, candidates with 5 years of full-time computer science experience and a total of 10 years integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in varied operating systems may qualify.
- Proficiency in the following areas is essential:
- Linux Shell Scripting
- Object-Oriented Programming languages (C, C , Java)
- Python Programming
- GCC compiler
- Multi-threaded software development
- Parallel processing techniques
- CORBA, J2EE knowledge
- Proficiency in Perl or JavaScript
- Familiarity with Configuration Management tools
- Structured troubleshooting skills
- Experience with system installations and HPC GOTS scheduler/resource management software
