What You'll Do: - Lead the development of iOS client code solutions that align with product strategy and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with fellow Software Engineers, UX/UI designers, Quality Engineers, and Product Owners to deliver engaging and high-quality customer experiences.
- Contribute to all Agile ceremonies and ensure timely and quality delivery of team commitments.
- Act as a champion for the mobile platform within both internal and external developer communities.
- Continuously learn and apply new technologies related to mobile development, including Swift and Kotlin.
- Participate in discussions to incorporate feedback and improve team communication.
- Mentor junior and mid-level team members to foster their growth and development.
- Engage with developers across disciplines, including Android and Web, to enhance collaborative efforts.
- Oversee and guide the delivery of significant components and platform needs alongside senior engineers and architects.
- Share best practices and drive process improvements within and across teams.
- Proactively identify technical challenges and collaborate with the team to devise creative solutions.
- Review pull requests to ensure adherence to Swift idioms and coding standards.
- Grow as a Subject Matter Expert while effectively managing a team of mobile developers.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 6 years of software engineering experience (excluding internships).
- At least 4 years of experience in people management.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience building iOS applications.
- At least 3 years of experience working with Swift.
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree.
- 7+ years of people management experience.
- 7+ years of experience building iOS applications.
- 4+ years of experience with Swift.
- 4+ years of experience in open-source frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience with Agile practices.
