The Software Engineer will develop, enhance, and maintain diverse software systems including complex analytics, novel algorithms, and real-time systems. You'll be instrumental in ensuring that software components meet documented specifications while debugging and resolving issues. Clearance Required: Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph. Responsibilities: - Analyze user requirements and derive software design and performance criteria.
- Debug and correct software defects.
- Design and code new features or modify existing applications.
- Integrate software into updated systems or operating environments.
- Create data queries for databases or data repositories.
- Write or review software and system documentation.
- Develop algorithms to enhance system performance and functionality.
Basic Qualifications: - A minimum of 20 years of experience as a Software Engineer on complex programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Clearance Required: Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Demonstrated expertise in debugging and correcting software issues.
- Strong analytical skills in software design and performance requirements.
- Experience in developing data queries.
- Proficient in integrating software within modified systems.
- Able to write or review high-quality documentation.
Preferred Qualifications: - Proficiency in tools such as Git, Linux, Jira, Confluence, and Eclipse.
- Familiar with Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with front-end libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with complex database or data repository queries.
- Proven track record in ensuring software quality control.
