Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, testing, and integration of robust software applications supporting secure and high-performance defense systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring compliance with performance and deployment requirements.
Write and maintain comprehensive software documentation, including test plans, design specifications, and requirement traceability.
Provide architectural input and take ownership of major application features from conception through deployment and maintenance.
Implement diagnostic tools and conduct debugging of existing software code, including Windows kernel-level debugging when required.
Apply DevOps principles to streamline code integration, version control, automated testing, and deployment workflows. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM discipline required; Master's degree with 6+ years, or Bachelor's with 8+ years of job-related experience.
U.S. Citizenship required by Federal Law.
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance required.
Proficiency in C/C and Object-Oriented Development.
Experience with Windows application development, including Win32, WPF, or WinUI 3 architectures.
Skilled in using Visual Studio IDE, Windows SDK, and Windows kernel-level debugging tools (e.g., DDK, WinDBG).
Familiarity with software design patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP).
Proficiency in SQL/SQL Server or similar relational databases.
Hands-on experience with LabWindows/CVI, MATLAB, and MEX/Compiler/Coder toolchains.
Strong understanding of software architecture, systems API, and low-level systems development.
Applied knowledge of DevOps practices, including version control strategies and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working within Agile/Lean development environments.
Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with oscilloscopes, DMMs, spectrum analyzers, and other lab/test equipment.
Knowledge of communication protocols including GPIB, RS232, SPI, etc.
