Role: Staff Backend Engineer
Location: Hybrid in San Francisco (4 days/week)
Salary: Up to $260K base + equity

In this role, you will:
Lead the design and architecture of critical backend systems
Work hands-on with complex, high-scale financial systems
Collaborate closely with leadership and engineering teams
Drive innovation across payments, fraud detection, and rewards
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience building scalable backend systems in Python
A strong background in backend engineering with a focus on security and performance
A passion for working in fast-moving, high-impact environments
This role requires hybrid work in San Francisco (4 days/week).
