Software Engineer with a TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph support an NGA Contract in Springfield, VA
About the Job This role is more than just coding. As a Senior Software Engineer at CALNET, you'll use your passion to help the Intelligence community. You will help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools and technologies. You will make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operational environment, as well as future functionality. Due to the nature of the work performed within this facility, U.S Citizenship with clearances is required.
Job Requirements - 7+ years of experience in software development
- 5+ years of experience in backend development using Java
- Experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using Agile methodology
- Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
Required Skills and Experience: - Experience with Apache Maven
- Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes
- Experience with Python
- Knowledge of Jira and Git
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in software engineering, or 10+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
