Contract Type: W2 Duration: 9 Months with possible extension Location: (NYC, Santa Monica, CA or Burbank,CA) Pay Range: $80 to $85 per hour on W2 Job Summary: Join us as a Senior Software Engineer, where innovation meets entertainment in the realm of next-generation media and sports technologies. In this pivotal role, you'll leverage your expertise in Scala, Java, and TypeScript to design and develop scalable and efficient software solutions. Your work will span across cloud computing, containerization, distributed systems, and observability to support our mission of providing a comprehensive overview for both executives and engineers. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient software applications using Scala, Java, and TypeScript. Utilize AWS services for cloud infrastructure deployment and management. Implement containerized solutions and manage services on Kubernetes. Build fault-tolerant, highly available, and scalable distributed systems. Ensure comprehensive system performance visibility through best practices in observability and monitoring. Must Have Skills: Proficient in Scala and Java Experience with AWS and cloud-native technologies Strong background in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) Domain Experience: Previous experience in media, streaming, or sports technologies domain is highly desirable.
