What You Will Do: - Lead diverse technology projects and mentor a team of skilled developers experienced in distributed microservices and full-stack systems to create solutions addressing regulatory needs.
- Stay up-to-date with tech trends, explore new technologies, engage with technology communities, and mentor fellow engineers while occasionally contributing to code reviews or coding.
- Work alongside digital product managers to deliver impactful cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially.
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, as well as various RDBMS and NoSQL databases, container orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and a range of AWS tools and services.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (excluding internships).
- Minimum of 1 year experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree.
- 7+ years of experience in languages such as Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.
- 2+ years working with AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar cloud services.
- 4+ years of experience with open-source frameworks.
- 1+ years of experience in leading a team.
- 2+ years using Agile methodologies.

The role offers a competitive salary range based on the location. Candidates in Richmond, VA, can expect a salary between $175,800 - $200,700, with eligibility for performance-based incentives, including cash bonuses or long-term incentives (LTI).
