The Enterprise Platforms Technology (EPTech) team is instrumental in managing some of Capital One's most vital enterprise platforms. We establish best practices for developing technology solutions across the organization and provide capabilities that reflect these practices.
What You'll Be Doing: - Oversee a range of diverse technology projects and guide a team of skilled developers experienced in distributed microservices and full-stack systems to deliver innovative solutions that address regulatory requirements.
- Embrace and share your enthusiasm for emerging technology trends, experiment with new tools, engage with technology communities, mentor fellow engineers, and occasionally write or review code.
- Work closely with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that enhance customer experiences and empower millions of Americans financially.
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node.js, Go, Scala, along with open-source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, while leveraging an array of AWS tools and services.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (excluding internship experience).
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree.
- 7+ years of experience in at least one of the following languages: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.
- 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud services.
- 4+ years of experience working with open-source frameworks.
- 1+ years of experience in a leadership capacity.
- 2+ years of experience implementing Agile methodologies.

The salary for this role is expected to fall between $175,800 and $200,700 for full-time positions. Note that salaries may vary depending on specific locations and are reflective of Capital One's ongoing commitment to competitive remuneration.
