Position Summary Responsible for development, design, testing, coding and integration of software products. Provide support to and work alongside other engineers to create innovative products while identifying and implementing testing applications and services that best prepare the company to meet future business goals. Other duties include:
- Utilize technical knowledge to write and complete software tasks and projects.
- Research new technologies and incorporate them into new systems and products.
- Lead projects, delegate responsibilities, and collaborate with others.
- Test, integrate, write, troubleshoot, and debug software applications.
- Responsible for the architecture and implementation of critical software components and games.
- Use company standards and apply design principals and patterns to develop robust software.
- Work closely with other engineers to provide guidance and assistance in the areas of software architecture, coding standards, and system related issues; and
- Act as team mentor in a multi-person development team.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
Five (5) years' experience in the Job offered or as an Advanced Software Engineer, or Senior Software Engineer, or Software Engineer, or any combination thereof.
Five (5) years' experience (can be gained concurrently with above) must include the following:
- Using programming languages RPGLE & CLLE including debugging (Interactive & Batch), SQL/400, Database DB2, AS400 components including Reports, Display files/Sub files, Batch jobs; extending REST API Services.
- Analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications on the IBM AS/400 iSeries platform.
- Evaluating codes for efficiency, debugging and quality assurance.
- Developing interfaces / connectors with enterprise systems and services for integration projects.
- working in a casino management and slot management environment.
- Working on slot machine interfaces.
