Job Title: OpenShift Container Platform Engineer/Architect (OCP)
W2/1099 Only (NO C2C)
Location: Charlotte, NC, and NJ (Onsite)

Required Skills & Experience:
- 15+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years of hands-on expertise in OCP configuration management and Kubernetes deployments.
- Extensive experience with PCF/TAS and OCP in complex, enterprise-level application environments (Java, .NET).
- Proven track record of leading migration projects from PCF/TAS to OCP, particularly within the Financial Services Industry.
- Strong technical proficiency in cloud technologies, containerization, and DevOps, including hands-on experience with OCP, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development.
- In-depth knowledge of migration frameworks/tools such as Konveyor, Move2Kube, and OpenRewrite.
- Strong working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Spinnaker, Jenkins, Harness, GitHub Actions, Kaniko, Helm charts, and Calico/Kubernetes Network Policies.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor teams, make technical decisions, and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly around platform differences, migration challenges, and containerization.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
Technical Expertise:
- 10+ years in software development/architecture.
- Experience with Java, .NET, Angular.
- Hands-on with TAS and OpenShift.
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures.
- Load balancing strategies (e.g., RoundRobin, Topology, Canary).
- Proven experience in migration approaches for OpenShift and TAS.
- CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with tools like Kafka, Redis, NDM, file storage.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
